Speaking of which, these two "corruption cases" are related to the epidemic. One is the case of "government-business collusion" during the epidemic, and the other is the case of "evacuating overseas Chinese and asking for bribes". The general situation of the "government-business collusion case" is that in June last year, Vietnam's Yueya Technology Company's "bid up the price of nucleic acid testing" was exposed, which involved a number of Vietnamese government officials who cooperated with the "price inflated" of merchants because of "profits". As a result, the Minister of Health of Viet Nam was ousted and his assistants arrested.
Another general situation of the "evacuation of overseas Chinese and bribery case" is that during the epidemic prevention and control period, a number of diplomatic officials of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs wantonly "asked for and accepted bribes" during the "charter flight evacuation" operation. For this, the Vietnamese foreign minister was punished, and a number of diplomats from embassies and consulates abroad were punished.
Obviously, both corruption cases occurred due to the epidemic and epidemic prevention and control. As a result, Vice Premier Wu Deyun, in charge of epidemic prevention and control, and Vice Premier Pham Binh Minh, in charge of foreign affairs and executive affairs, were dismissed.
Objectively speaking, the Vietnamese government's handling of these two corruption cases is open and transparent, and its strength is enough to describe it as "shocking". Regardless of the size of the position, if you "make a mistake", even if it is only "leadership responsibility" or "political responsibility", you must resign, because it is in the interests of the country and the people.
