This year, the Australian Business of the Year Selection will select 10 to 12 outstanding companies and present the "2022 Enterprise of the Year" award through a combination of jury review and public voting. In addition, if the business leader plays an important role in the company and makes a significant contribution to the development of the company in 2022, the jury may decide to award the leader the "Entrepreneur of the Year 2022".
The event aims to recognize Australia's outstanding enterprises, encourage more Australians to start businesses, contribute to Australia's economic prosperity, and contribute to Australia's social welfare.
Not only that, but this year's event also invited three leaders in their respective industries and fields to form a jury.
Alison Airey

Chief Executive Officer (NSW)
Alison serves as both ACBC's National Executive and CEO of the NSW chapter. In her NSW work, Alison has designed a number of initiatives and programmes to support business links between Australia and China.
In 2017, she led the Australia-China Leadership Forum, a forum that brings together Australian and Chinese leaders, as well as state/provincial leaders.
Alison began her career as a diplomat, responsible for shaping economic and trade policy in Asia. As Counsellor at the Australian Embassy in Tokyo, she led lobbying for a free trade agreement between Australia and Japan. She also served on the Australian High Commission in London. She speaks Japanese and Chinese fluently.
