As a rural person who rarely travels to the country once, I am very curious about the life of North Koreans. I didn't spend much time in North Korea, mostly on tourist buses. Although I was tired from the journey, I spent a few days carefully touring the country and observing all aspects of the lives of the people here. My observation of North Korea was through the car window.
Pyongyang is one of the most interesting cities in North Korea, and its residential buildings are colorful and strongly colored. Its buildings are all boxy, neat and symmetrical. If you have OCD, it's still very comfortable to see the buildings in Pyongyang. The roads in North Korea, the municipalities are good, the roads in the county are so-so, they need to be repaired. The roads in the cave are poor, and many need to be repaired. As for the highway in North Korea, when I went back to Pyongyang, I saw pheasants roaming on it. Such a scene is estimated to be impossible to see in China. Pyongyang's female traffic police are beautiful, and you can see them in uniform on the streets of Pyongyang, alone directing passing vehicles.
The southern man and the northern woman said it well. There are indeed many beautiful girls in North Korea, and their necks are sore when they see it. However, most of the North Korean men I saw on the road were very thin. Their hairstyles are similar, their clothes are similar, and they even show similar feelings. In North Korea, if your pursuit is not very high, life is still very simple. Because you don't have the trouble of buying a house, don't worry about seeing a doctor, because these are all arranged for you by the state.
In North Korea, you have very few choices, such as not choosing your job or housing. Even the object is not necessarily chosen by oneself, it is arranged by the parents. Every day, I was on the tourist bus, observing the local people. Some locals will observe us. What I remember very well is that when I was in Kaesong, there were several little boys of seven or eight years old, who not only stared at us, but also greeted us very excitedly.
This scene reminds me of when I was a child, when a group of foreigners drove by the road in front of our village in a tourist bus, and we were very excited. Secretly observing the foreigners in the car in a corner is exactly the same as the children in Kaesong observing us now.
