One morning in early winter, the sun shone on Taizhou, a small city in northern Jiangsu in Lixia River, and the weather was a little cold, and the slight north wind blew pedestrians tightened their collars. A villa in the northern suburbs is as warm as spring. The interior decoration is not luxurious, and the main colors of black, white and gray are atmospheric and simple. The heating was turned on in the house, and the man, Mr. Zhang, wearing only a shirt, held a cup of tea, and sat with his wife next to the hanging fireplace, chatting while roasting the fire.
The flames in the furnace jumped, exuberant, radiating on their faces, hot, just as they talked about the story of this house, and their hearts were warm.
Mr. Zhang was born in a large family in a small city in northern Jiangsu. Catch the last train of the demographic dividend to this world, after two older sisters, become the only boy in the family. Loved by thousands of people, he has not cultivated a little bit of grace, he has been self-reliant since he was a child, his academic performance has always been very good, and he was admitted to his ideal university. The two like-minded people, sharing happiness and suffering, foaming at each other, finally broke into a world of their own. After hard work, happy family, two sons are concentrating on their studies, their own entities are thriving, their careers are successful, and there are several sets of bungalows and villas in Shanghai, truly completing the original accumulation.
This villa in Fengcheng was actually bought by them ten years ago and has not been renovated. On the one hand, because the couple is too busy, they go back to their hometown to reunite with their parents and family during the New Year and festivals, and they will stay in a nearby hotel for a few days at night. The main aspect is that there is no good design concept and decoration plan.
Everything that has a way is like a dream bubble, like dew and electricity, and should be viewed as such. In recent years, with the enrichment of experience and insight, the two have thought more deeply about life and family. No matter how far you go, returning to nature and family affection is the eternal belonging of the soul. Especially for two children who grew up in the city, their parents always wanted them to really know where their roots were. It was at this time that they met the designer of the case and reached a consensus on the basis of the minimalist style - the closer the mind is to nature, the closer life is to purity. Mr. Zhang said that this is meeting the right person at the right time.
This villa with one basement floor and three floors above ground has a construction area of only more than 400 square meters, mainly as a place for Mr. Zhang's family to relax and reunite with his family during festivals. It is required to have a large living room, a large dining room, a large kitchen, six rooms and relatively independent toilets and storage spaces. To this end, the designer made a bold transformation of the villa's atrium and entrance hall to increase the dining room, kitchen, and living space. At the same time, the beginning of the entrance steps was adjusted to increase cushioning and roundabouts, preserving the ritual sense of the foyer.
Mr. Zhang and his wife are both gourmets, his wife likes to cook Western food, and Mr. Zhang's father also cooks good dishes. Every time I return to my hometown, a family of about ten people, as well as other relatives and friends, will gather and eat together. Therefore, the designer designed a western kitchen in addition to the Chinese kitchen, and there is an island for easy operation, and the restaurant has a large dining table for 16 people to eat together.
The living room is a multi-functional combination of parent-child area, reading area and tea tasting area, plus basement film and television area, chess and card area, which is a place for everyone to relax after tea and dinner. In order to increase the lighting and ventilation of the basement, the designer made the small windows on the floor to the extreme, and made technical treatments in waterproofing and dehumidification.
The second and third floors are mainly bedrooms for a family of four and parents. All the terraces upstairs are not closed, keeping close contact with the first rays of the morning sun to start the day. The younger son's room on the north side of the third floor has a larger terrace with open-air outdoor chairs and coffee tables. On a clear night, the little boy who grew up in the metropolis lay on a chair, looking at the moon that his parents used to see, counting the stars that his parents used to count, dreaming of flying, and his heart was purifying...
The courtyard of the villa is not large, and there are usually few people to take care of, and the designer made a plan for a lazy courtyard. Stone paved roads, gravel scattered around, a few bluestones, dotted with privet balls, tea plum trees, boxwood balls, orchids, southern bamboo, kidney ferns and other seasonal evergreen plants. There are no precious flowers and trees, but the combination is reasonable, the taste is enough, lush and green, full of life. When the spring blossoms are warm, it must be the flowers and butterflies, meet three or five friends, have an outdoor barbecue, and have fun!
The warm winter afternoon sun shines lazily. The courtyard has restored its former tranquility. The leaves of the Pu tree at the gate have fallen, and the bare branches are helpless, looking helplessly at the green osmanthus tree opposite, thinking that when spring comes, I am dressed in green again. The foxtail Dong next to the bluestone shook his little green hand, also waiting for the spring girl's eyes.
The years turn around, spring turns to autumn, and everything is the best arrangement.
The lead washed away, looked back, and found that the place where it came was the best place to go, and plainness was the last true meaning of life.
