In the north, there are fewer and fewer flowers blooming in winter, and it is good to enjoy the photos taken before.
The protagonist of this article is Rhododendron leaf camellia, also known as rhododendron red camellia, four seasons red camellia, Zhang's red camellia, and fake big-headed tea. The photos in the article are all original by Lao Xu, taken in July and August 2022, the camera used is the Canon Micro Single Canon EOS M6 that has accompanied Lao Xu for 5 years, and the lens I usually use is a small telephoto of 55-200mm.
Rhododendron camellia, like rhododendron, is essentially camellia, hence the name. The wild population is scarce, and it is now a first-class protected plant, known as the "giant panda of the plant world". The general camellia blooms in winter and spring, and the azalea camellia can bloom in all seasons, so it is also called the four seasons camellia, it blooms most in summer, the flowers are large, bright, and have a high ornamental value.
