However, this situation will change completely from 30 June this year. Entrants will then need to declare their personal data through the New Zealand Traveller Declaration.
According to the New Zealand Traveller Declaration website, this is an online system that allows travellers to complete a declaration before travelling to New Zealand.
It is also reported that travelers need to fill out and submit an online form when declaring, and then receive an email with a QR code attached.
Travellers can print out the QR code they receive or save it to a device such as a mobile phone and present it to border agents when they enter New Zealand.
New Zealand Customs said the system "has some new features and improvements". For example, the improved system will focus more on entry declarations and will cover issues such as customs, biosecurity and immigration declarations, as well as potential health risk assessments.
And, even if the flight has landed, passengers can still fill out the declaration form online using a carry-on device. But the customs said it would also require working with airport operators and airlines to figure out how the system works.

This year's ranking shows that Japan has won the title for the fifth consecutive year. Its citizens can visit 193 of the 227 destinations included in the index without visas.

At the bottom of the ranking is Afghanistan, with a score of just 27. The gap between the country's passport and Japan reached 166 visa-free destinations, the largest gap in the list's 18-year history.

If an adult wants to apply for New Zealand citizenship, they need to meet the following criteria:
