A fish pond owner in Essex, England, has recently become more popular because a hungry baby seal often sneaks into his fish pond and eats a meal that brings disaster, causing the owner to lose nearly £3,000.

According to the owner, the baby seal was first seen around December 6, a gray seal about 1 year old that presumably sneaked in from the sea 9 miles away. This little seal not only scourges the fish pond, but also ducks and birds. Essex Country Police and British Divers Marine Life Rescue tried twice to catch it, but were escaped by cunning baby seals. According to the pond owner, the baby seal has a scar on its head and tail, and one eye is suspected to be blind.

The owner angrily said he had leased it from the Essex Rochford District Government for 12 years and that the baby seal's actions could ruin his business if left unchecked. According to a spokesman for the British Diver Marine Life Rescue Team, the baby seal recently haunted a fish pond near Southend.
