Lamma Island Transportation Guide
The most convenient way is of course to reach Central Pier by boat. Take the Hong Kong MTR to Central Station, or take the local bus to Central Pier Station, then take the boat to Lamma Island at Central Pier 4.
However, be aware that Lamma Island has two piers docked! They are Banyan Tree Bay or Sok Kwok Wan, and it is recommended to take a boat to Banyan Tree Bay first. The reason is that there are more flights to Banyan Tree Bay, usually every half an hour, and the whole trip can be more smooth, and you can feel the local customs of Lamma Island more!
