Traveling to North Korea, I was impressed by the fact that there were few passers-by and few cars in Pyongyang. There are very few passers-by in Pyongyang during the day. Why are there so few daytime people on the streets of Pyongyang? Because most Pyongyang people work in state-run units. There are no unemployed people in Pyongyang, there are no idle people, everyone needs labor work. Few people in North Korea do business, and most shops and enterprises are state-run.

During the day, Pyongyang people work in their units. So passers-by are rarely seen on the streets of Pyongyang. Pyongyang women also go to work, unlike domestic women, Pyongyang women have a short commute time and do not go to the mall with their girlfriends. Although Pyongyang also has large shopping malls, prices are high, so North Korean girls rarely visit. Of course, the streets of Pyongyang are often overcrowded during rush hour. Especially in front of the bus stop sign, you can often see office workers waiting in long queues waiting for the bus.

On some major festivals, many citizens can be seen on the streets of Pyongyang holding events. There are few street facades and shops in Pyongyang, and in downtown areas on the mainland, almost all of them are façade houses along the streets. And in downtown Pyongyang, there are few façade houses. Downstairs, there are often only one or two small shops, which are said to be state-run. If you don't look closely, you can't tell what the store is. There are not many cars on the streets of Pyongyang, North Korea, but the roads are very spacious.

Many of Pyongyang's main roads are two-way twelve-lanes, wider than those of many of the country's largest cities. The road is spacious, and there are not many cars running, so it looks empty. According to my observations, there are not many gas stations in Pyongyang. Pyongyang drivers are said to want to refuel and need a gas ticket. When our tour bus passed some gas stations in Pyongyang, I noticed that there were very few cars in the gas stations. There are few cars in Pyongyang's gas stations, and few cars in Pyongyang. Therefore, the Pyongyang gas station staff is very idle.

In general, walking the streets of Pyongyang gives the impression that it is clean, tidy and empty. The pace of life in Pyongyang is also slow, and most people seem more laid-back.
