In 2004, Chen Yufang heard that a farmer's house in Nanding Province had a strange tree, so she immediately rushed over, and when she saw the true face of this strange tree, Chen Yufang's whole person was shocked.

The Nanyang olive in the farmer's family in Nanding Province is particularly fat in its root system, and Chen Yufang thinks at first glance that the root system of this olive looks like a toad, so he hopes to buy it.
But the owner of the tree did not mean to sell, no matter Chen Yufangxiao's affection or reason, the owner of the tree always said a word, and there was no door.
However, Chen Yufang did not give up, he even rented a room directly near the farmer's house, went to the tree owner's house every day to beg, sometimes rubbed food at the tree owner's house, and over time, everyone became very good friends, but the tree owner still refused to sell the tree to him.
In 2005, after waiting for nearly 1 year, the tree owner finally compromised under Chen Yufang's soft and hard bubble, and finally Chen Yufang bought this Nanyang olive with a fat root system for 20 million Vietnamese dong (equivalent to about 6,000 yuan).
After Chen Yufang bought this olive, after consulting the information, she learned that the fat root system of this olive tree is very rare, and only one in tens of thousands of naturally growing olives may appear.
However, the fly in the ointment is that this South Sea olive belongs to mountain olives, it is difficult to bear fruit, and even if it bears fruit, its fruit is deflated and small, so in order to make this South Sea olive more ornamental, Chen Yufang decided to graft Thai olives too, after several generations of cultivation, this South Sea olive really grew a large and full olive fruit.
Chen Yufang has cultivated this olive tree for 17 years, and the roots of this olive tree are growing fat and tall year by year, this olive tree is about 1.5 meters tall, the roots are winding, almost overflowing from the bottom basin, the whole tree has no leaves, only fruit.
This olive tree, Chen Yufang has found an expert to identify, the olive tree is 50 years old, the tree is covered with gray mold, and the shape of the tree is very peculiar, especially the roots, it looks like a toad with a copper coin in its mouth.
Chen Yufang said that almost all the tourists who have seen his toad olive tree said yes.
On January 28, 2022, Ho Chi Minh City held a bonsai art exhibition, and Chen Yufang also brought her two trees with her, one of which is a 30-year-old plum tree, and the other is this toad tree in the shape of a South Sea olive.
At the exhibition, a wealthy businessman from Dien Bien province took a fancy to the olive at a glance, he found Tran Ngoc Fong and offered to offer 500 million Vietnamese dong (equivalent to about 140,000 yuan) to buy the olive.

The price is not low, but it is a care project, it is too time and energy-consuming, and the reason why I want to cultivate this bonsai is only to show my passion, and I do not intend to make money by selling these two trees.
