Recently, domestic nucleic acid testing problems have been frequent.
From June to July this year, many provinces carried out large-scale inspections of nucleic acid institutions, and the data showed that in just over one month, 250 third-party nucleic acid testing institutions were ordered to rectify, including many listed companies or subsidiaries of companies to be listed.
Even state media published commentary articles saying:
"The chaos of nucleic acid testing has a strong reaction from the public, and it has come to the time when non-heavy can't stop the chaos."

In fact, regarding the chaos of nucleic acid testing, Vietnam broke out a corruption case involving 4 trillion Vietnamese dong (about 1.15 billion yuan) this year, which triggered a public opinion earthquake in the country.
Experts point out that this could be one of the largest corruption cases since Vietnam launched its anti-corruption campaign, code-named "The Melting Pot" nine years ago.
What's going on?
In June this year, Vietnamese media took the initiative to expose a large-scale nucleic acid corruption case.
The personnel involved are very high levels - headed by Vietnam's former Minister of Science and Technology and Minister of Health, affecting both military and political circles!
These two officers, together with a large number of senior officials (mainly senior officials of the provincial CDC), colluded with unscrupulous businessmen. For more than two years, taking advantage of the opportunity of the state to produce and purchase kits, these kits were sold to the government and hospitals around the world at prices much higher than the market to earn the difference, and then sat down and shared the loot!
According to Vietnamese media reports, since the epidemic, the Vietnamese government has invested a lot of manpower and material resources to fight the epidemic, including training personnel, purchasing medical supplies, and strengthening management.
During this period, some corrupt officials and unscrupulous businessmen saw an opportunity.
This opportunity comes from the monopoly of nucleic acid testing resources.
At that time, Vietnam's Ministry of Science and Technology, together with the Vietnam Military Medical University and a company called Viet A Technology, developed the kit.
After winning the bid, it took less than a month to announce the successful development of nucleic acid reagents and won a nucleic acid testing order of 151 billion VND (about 43.8 million yuan) in a short period of time.
At that time, the Vietnamese official media was quite proud, loudly declaring to the outside world: This is "Vietnamese speed"!
Subsequently, Viet A's nucleic acid detection agent was widely used in Vietnam.
I don't know why, after the advent of this detection reagent, major cities in Vietnam began to take the initiative to implement large-scale nucleic acid screening.
In the past two years, Viet A's detection reagent has been widely used in more than 80% of nucleic acid detection in Vietnam.
In 2020, Vietnam snatched a large number of orders from China and achieved the world's leading GDP growth rate.
At the same time, the government also praised Viet A, and Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Phu Trong even awarded them the third-class labor medal, and its founder, Phan Quoc Viet became a well-known figure in repeated media interviews.
It is worth mentioning that this Phan Quoc Viet is also a famous medical scientist in Vietnam, passed down from generation to generation.
However, the "anti-epidemic myth" created by Viet A was finally shattered in the second half of 2021!
The reason for the collapse comes from the loss of monopoly position.
At that time, the Delta variant triggered a new wave of epidemics in Vietnam, and large-scale nucleic acid testing was carried out in major cities.
At the same time, major Vietnamese domestic testing companies have also sprung up and participated in the bidding with Viet A.
With contrast, there is also a problem.
Vietnamese media found that Viet A company registered capital of only 80 million Vietnamese dong (about 23,000 yuan), only more than ten employees, the scale is very small, such a scale, how did it win a large government order?
In addition, the price of Viet A's reagent exceeds 100 RMB, which is several times more expensive than the price of the same type of reagent in the international market of about 30 RMB, how can it be sold at this price?
These questions have attracted the attention of Vietnamese regulators.
In early December, Vietnamese police launched investigations in 16 provinces and cities, including Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
They found that Pham Vi Xian, director of the CDC in Vietnam's Hai Duong province, had accepted bribes of 27 billion Vietnamese dong (about 7.83 million yuan) from Phan Quoc Viet in the past six months in the kit tender.
In order to sell Viet A kit at a premium of more than 45%, Pan Guoyue carefully designed a set of processes.
First of all, the relevant officials of Viet A Company and Vietnam Military Medical University successfully passed the certification process of the Ministry of Science and Technology through improper means, making their kits the earliest similar products approved for production.
In addition, they exaggerated the equipment price and material cost of the kit, and falsified the proof.
Finally, by bribing provincial CDC and hospital leaders, Viet A kit was procured by governments at all levels.
Layers of bribery, layers of corruption, layers of false bidding.
After the news was exposed, the Viet A kit corruption case shocked Vietnam.
From the military to the government and hospitals, from the central to the local, a large number of officials are involved.
Of course, the complex chain of interests also makes anti-corruption investigations face great resistance, and a large number of officials are systematically involved in sharing the spoils, making it difficult to carry out investigations.
Fortunately, Vietnam's determination to fight corruption is strong.
In the end, the former minister of science and technology, the minister of health, who served as a member of the standing committee, as well as the mayor of Hanoi and others, all failed to escape justice and were all punished.
In 2021, Vietnam rose from 104 to 87 in Transparency International's Corruption Perceptions Perceptions Index.
Since ancient times, there have always been people who have taken advantage of disasters to make a fortune.
Regarding nucleic acid corruption, in addition to Vietnam, South Africa also exposed a major nucleic acid corruption case, with a total amount of 8 billion rand (about 3.37 billion yuan), involving more than 700 companies.
Nowadays, China's financial prevention and control fund expenditure at all levels is believed to be no less, of course, some similar situations are difficult to avoid.
