Myanmar's Ministry of Commerce announced that from April 1 to November 11 this fiscal year, the import value of commercial raw materials from abroad reached more than 5 billion US dollars.

A person in charge of the Trade Management Department of the Ministry of Commerce of Myanmar said that the country's industry, food, agriculture and construction industries are operating well and have achieved steady growth. As a result, Myanmar's demand for imported commercial raw materials is also growing, with imports from nearly 20 countries and regions amounting to more than US$5 billion. The import value of state-owned enterprises was more than 72 million US dollars, and the import value of private enterprises was 4.934 billion US dollars.

The imported commercial raw materials mainly include industrial yarns and fabrics, fuel oil and related auxiliary products, cement and construction supplies for construction, agricultural fertilizers, pesticides and other agricultural supplies, flour and edible oil for food industry.
