Because of its reputation, many countries have approached our national construction companies to help them with infrastructure, and I went to Bangladesh in 2018, mainly to help them with infrastructure projects.

Dhaka Airport implements a visa on arrival for our country, only need to fill in a purpose of entry, the security check procedure is relatively simple, and there is no obstruction on the way.
Out of the lobby of Dhaka Airport, the parking lot is full of all kinds of cars, in fact, in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, cars are already quite high-end, only in places like the airport will gather, other places are rarely seen cars.
The driver of the car saw that we were Chinese and asked us in a crappy Chinese if we wanted to take the car, and our leader said that someone would come to pick us up later, and the driver smiled and left.
We took the bus to walk on the streets of Dhaka, and at a glance we saw that the streets of Dhaka were densely packed with tricycles and bicycles, and asked the driver to understand that in Bangladesh, the main means of transportation for locals are tricycles and bicycles.
Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, is also known as the world's "home of tricycles, the city with the most tricycles in the world", with more than two million tricycles in the city, and many Bengalis rely on tricycles to support their families.
After more than an hour of bus driving, we arrived at our workplace, and my old colleague prepared a simple reception banquet for us, and after this meal, my Bangladesh work trip officially began.
Bangladesh is a polygamous country.
Bangladesh is one of the few polygamous countries in the world where laws allow a man to have four wives at the same time. Both native Bangladeshi and foreign settlers can enjoy this treatment.
However, Bangladeshi men want to marry four wives, it is not an easy task, there are also many restrictions, in Bangladesh, marrying the first wife does not need to pay taxes, from the second wife, you need to pay a certain tax, the locals call this tax "wife tax".
Having four wives at the same time is the limit of Bengalis, if you want to marry a fifth wife, you must divorce any of these four wives, divorce is not an easy task in Bangladesh, this is to protect women's rights.
Although Bangladeshi law allows Bangladeshi men to take four wives, most families remain monogamous, mainly because the local income is not high and not everyone can afford the "wife tax".
Income of Bengalis.

In order to meet the deadline, the leaders of the place where I worked, so they hired dozens of Bangladeshis from the local area to work, and their wages were paid daily, 80 yuan a day, and they worked eight hours.
Until we were done, they were unemployed. On the eve of returning home, Bangladeshi workers held our hands for a long time and refused to let go, they were reluctant to part with us, and in their minds, Chinese was the kindest and worthy friend.
Prices in Bangladesh.
The price level in Bangladesh is still relatively low, after all, the income of Bangladeshis is there, if such a low income is the price of goods, then Bangladeshis really not enough to eat.
Local fruits and vegetables are relatively cheap, generally a few cents can buy a pound of vegetables or a pound of ordinary fruits, imported vegetables and fruits are more expensive, ordinary families generally cannot afford to consume.
In Bangladesh's cheap restaurants, eating an ordinary light meal, only a few yuan is enough, if you are not used to eating local food, you can also go to Chinese restaurants to eat, in the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka, there are many Chinese open restaurants, the price of dishes is not much different from the price of domestic restaurants.

Padma Bridge is known as Bangladesh's Millennium Dream Bridge, this bridge is claimed to be able to feed half of Bangladesh's population, its completion, not only for Bangladeshis to travel greatly convenient, but also to Bangladesh to achieve north-south geographical connectivity.
Before the completion of the Padma Bridge, once the rainy season arrived, Bangladesh was prone to natural disasters of flooding, and every flood disaster caused Bangladeshis to suffer great losses.
The Bangladeshi government also wants to build a bridge that can withstand floods, but with their own infrastructure technology, it is far from enough. At that time, they found construction teams from many countries, but no one could give them tickets, and in the end, our country stepped forward and helped them build this epic bridge.
It is said that the completion of the Padma Bridge is built first and then paid for, and our country is not worried that Bangladesh will not be able to pay money, which reflects that our country has a very strong international bearing power.
Other aspects of Bangladesh.
Climate. The climate in Bangladesh is very close to that of our Guangdong province. In summer, the temperature is in the 30s, and in winter, the temperature is around 10 degrees. The only fly in the ointment is that due to the relatively high temperature in Bangladesh, there are more mosquitoes here, and the size of mosquitoes is relatively large.
Diet. Bengalis eat a bit close to India, they also like to eat fried food and curry rice, even eating in a way similar to Indians, they are used to eating with their right hand.
Folk customs. The local folk customs in Bangladesh are still relatively simple, and the local people are deeply and widely influenced by religion, and have great resistance to doing bad things. However, Bangladesh has a heavier hierarchy and a preference for sons.
The locals are also more welcoming to Chinese and willing to help, like when we asked the locals for directions, they were happy to point us to the right route.
