There are two white storks, the female guards the home, the male migrates, their love spans 16,000 kilometers, life and death for more than ten years. The story begins in 1993, when an old man living in Croatia picks up a dying white stork one day. Fortunately, his injuries have slowly improved under the careful care of the old man, but his injuries are too serious to spread his wings and fly high. So the old man built a nest for him on the roof, named him Lin Na, went fishing in the river for him, and talked to him when he was bored. And so they spent eight years. However, all this was changed because of the arrival of a male white stork, who began to fish for Lin Na and play with Lin Na instead of the old man. The old man saw Lin Na leaning on his side, and understood that they were in love. The old man was happy to also name the male white stork Ichiro. After they fell in love, they soon had a child of their own, Ichiro wanted to catch more fish for his wife and children, and Lin Na took care of the child at home. In the blink of an eye, autumn came, and Ichiro flew away with his plump wings, which should be said to migrate to South Africa for the winter. Lin Na flew not far and could only wander by the nest alone. So the old man and Lin Na returned to their previous lives. In March of the following year, Ichiro actually returned. The old man was surprised and delighted. Because white storks migrate to South Africa every year for the winter, it is their instinct to find a new mate to reproduce the following year. And Ichiro did not go to find a new partner, but returned to Linna's side. This shows that their relationship has gone beyond the instinct of animal reproduction. Ichiro went back and forth like this, just for this brief reunion, for the love he cared about the most!
