Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan is located near the city of the same name in Afghanistan. Many who served in Afghanistan started from this starting point. In 1979-1989, Bagram Air Base was the main military base of the Soviet Air Force in Afghanistan. From 2006 to 2021, the US Air Force occupied the air base. It is located 11 km southeast of the city of Charikar in Parwan Province and 47 km north of Kabul.

There are not many amateur photos of this legendary air base found online. The post will contain amateur photographs taken by the Soviet military at the end of the war in Afghanistan in the late 1980s.
