Day40: I'm supposed to be on the train to Zambia by now.

Yesterday I went to the Mbeya train station to ask for train information, and I was told that I would leave at two o'clock this afternoon, packed my luggage and left the room, and rushed to the station by tuk-tuk, and the staff said: "Oh, the time of that train has changed today, maybe until 7 pm, or 8 o'clock, or 🤔... Come at seven. ”

"Is that a fast or slow car? I remember yesterday you told me it was the express. "Oh, it's a slow car, there is no express car today, only ordinary cars." "So how long does the slow train get to that terminal in Zambia?" "Maybe 20 hours, maybe 23 hours, oh, maybe 25 hours..."

In fact, this is the second time that there has been a time error problem with local transportation. Last time I took the bus in Dodoma, the ticket seller told me that it was Moaning's bus at 12 o'clock, but she wrote 6:00 on the ticket, yes, this is an expression of the local Swahili language, if it is 6, it is actually changed to English is 12, if it is 3 changed to English it is 9... After I confirmed it again and again, she said yes, you have to arrive at the station at about 11:00 midnight and leave in the early morning. Okay, this time relieved, go back to the inn to make up for a sleep, specially at 22:30 in the evening to leave the room and take a motorcycle to the station, wait until 23:30 or see the car come, asked the security guard on duty, he looked at my ticket and said, "Wrong, this car is tomorrow morning at 12 o'clock, you need to wait in the waiting hall until tomorrow almost 11 noon middle day" "Oh, okay", in order to confirm the accuracy of what he said, I specially found another English guy waiting at the station, he said yes, it was tomorrow. Actually, I still want to go to the ticket office again to confirm, but the ticket seller has already left work. Okay, now relieved, I continued to find a motorcycle and returned to the inn that had already returned to the room, fortunately, the little girl at the front desk gave me the key again.

At 10:30 a.m. the next day, I took a motorcycle to the station again. By the way, there are no taxis in Dodoma, the capital of Tanzania, and its taxis are motorcycles or tuk-tuks to be precise.

When I arrived at the station, I waited until almost 11:30, but I still didn't see the bus coming, handed the ticket to the water vendor next to me and asked, "This car, it's gone, it's gone in the early morning." I took the ticket to the company that sold the ticket and asked what was the situation, this time it was another staff member "This car is gone" "Are you writing English time, local time, or heavenly time?" The little brother looked confused, "This is, I don't know..." "Well, then how can you solve this problem now?" Do I need to buy a new ticket or change tomorrow's car or... The problem has occurred and I accept this result, but how to solve the problem? "Don't worry, I'll find another company's car and let you go and sit." So I continued to wait at the station for 3 hours and got into another car...

"Hakuna Matata", which is a local phrase I learned in Tanzania, means "don't worry, don't worry", which is a bit similar to the Muslim phrase "Yingshi Allah", which I understand as "having providence, or everything is at will, or conforming to impermanence".

Over the years, I have basically adapted to all kinds of changes during the journey, and when difficulties or changes occur, I will no longer fight with it, nor will I rush to get angry. Accept all changes, adapt to all impermanence, and observe these changes from the perspective of an outsider and find that it is another "me" performing a movie.

Not wanting to wait another seven or eight hours in the waiting room at the train station, I returned to the city to find a café. Wow, this coffee is amazing, I decided to take the pack of coffee beans with me when I left. #Round the World # #Tanzania # #Africa # #赞比亚 #
