On November 23, three rescued Oriental white storks returned to nature in the Qilihai wetlands.

On the same day, the Forestry Bureau of Ninghe District of Tianjin released three oriental white storks with wild survival ability into the Qilihai wetland.

In April, an oriental white stork's nest on a power tower in Ninghe District was found to be at risk of capsizing. Subsequently, under the guidance of the Ninghe District Forestry Bureau, the nest birds were sent to local volunteers with experience in the protection and rescue of the Oriental White Stork for treatment and nurturing. After a period of careful rescue, the 3 young birds have reached the conditions for release in the wild.

The Oriental White Stork is a national first-class protected animal. The three Oriental White Storks are also wearing satellite trackers when they return to nature, and staff will continuously monitor them to better grasp their activities and health.
