The soldier wearing a German helmet was not carrying a Soviet-made RPG, and he was not actually a German soldier, but a Finnish Wehrmacht soldier. The weapon he was armed with was an authentic Finnish anti-tank rocket launcher of the 55S55. The 55S55 does have some roots with Germany, and the Finnish army received many "Iron Fist" and "Panzer Saboteur" anti-tank weapons from Germany in the late World War II, and Finland continued to use them after the war, but these old weapons gradually became inadequate, and needed to be replaced. After argumentation, the Finns believed that individual anti-tank weapons should not use rocket-propelled grenades, because the "armored saboteur" of the rocket-boosted method they used in World War II was not accurate enough. In view of this, the Finns adopted the concept of a recoilless gun on the new weapon, which was designed and finalized in 1955 with a caliber of 55 mm, hence the name 55S55.

The 55S55 launcher is actually a smoothbore recoilless body tube with a Venturi-effect recoil buffer – its design concept is derived from the "iron fist", similar to the Swedish "Carl Gustav" 84mm recoilless anti-tank grenade launcher. The ammunition fired by the 55S55 is not driven by a rocket engine, and all initial kinetic energy is derived from the launch charge - it burns up instantly when fired. The 55S55 is equipped with an 89mm high-explosive anti-tank grenade weighing 2.3 kg and can penetrate 300 mm of steel armor. The maximum effective range against stationary targets is 300 meters, moving targets 200 meters. When fired, the 55S55 produces a deadly high-pressure flame at the rear, and is a highly dangerous area within a radius of 7 meters, from which blown away gravel can even fly up to 15 meters away. When using it, the shooter needs to make sure that there are no walls or other objects within two meters behind him, otherwise the spray flames that bounce back may injure him. Want to launch from a closed room? Absolutely not, unless it is not fatal.
