At that time, it was a common phenomenon that a few Japanese soldiers could bluff all the people by walking on the street. At that time, Wang Ruyu was also holding a fire in his stomach, so he secretly contacted 17 descendants in the village and prepared to ambush three Japanese soldiers in a place called Nanpuqian in Chijiang.
Who knew that the news of their ambush of the Japanese soldiers was known by the village elders, because they were afraid that the whole village would be retaliated against after killing the Japanese soldiers, so the village elders tried their best to stop the actions of Wang Ruyu and this group of hot-blooded youths.
But what will come will come. One day, when Wang Ruyu went to Chijiangxu, he was caught by the Japanese army to pick up a burden, and could not go home, so he immediately carried the burden and marched in the direction of Guangdong.

Slowly, Wang Ruyu was coerced by Japanese devils to camp in a small mountain village in Shixing County, Guangdong. On August 15, 1945, Japan announced its surrender. Because the old man is the eldest son in the family, and Wang Ruyu's father is weak and sick and needs to be taken care of, and at the same time, the Kuomintang implements the "plant company system" for families who have joined the guerrilla group, as long as the people in the family join the guerrilla group, the whole family will be arrested. The old man did not want to see everyone in the family suffer because of his children, so he advised Wang Ruyu to stop working for the guerrillas.
