Saudi Arabia: Beat the Red Devils

For Saudi Arabia, which has won the Asian championship twice, 1994 was undoubtedly a year of dreams.

In the first round against the Netherlands, Anwar scored Saudi Arabia's first World Cup goal in the first half, but was unfortunately overtaken by the Netherlands. From the second round, the Green Eagles embarked on a dream journey, first beating Morocco 2-1 and then Belgium 1-0, and advanced to the quarterfinals as the second place in the group, becoming the first Asian team since North Korea in 1966 to advance to the knockout rounds.

Despite losing to Sweden in the first knockout match, this achievement is Saudi Arabia's best result in the World Cup in nearly three decades.

South Korea: Two draws

This is the third consecutive World Cup for South Korea, who are in the same group as Germany, Spain and Bolivia. In this tournament, players such as Hong Mingfu and Huang Shanhong performed well. After drawing with Spain and Bolivia, South Korea are eager to advance to the next stage with a victory.

In the third round, Germany took the lead, scoring three goals in a row in the first half to put South Korea in a difficult situation. In the second half, South Korea scored two goals in a row in ten minutes, but failed to equalize and missed the knockout round 2-3.
