Why does Yang Hongji pronounce the "duō" of "When Can You Fall" in "Tanka Xing" as chuò? Cao Cao's "Short Song Line"

author:Ming Yiyin

Why is Yang Hongji pronounced chuò as "duō" of "When Can You Fall"?

To say that Yang Hongji sang wrong (Figure 4) is to not know the "truth".

In the process of circulating Cao Cao's "Short Song Xing", different versions appeared, some of which are "When can you quit duō" (Figure 5) and some versions of which are "When can you quit chuò" (Figure 6). The Chinese textbook uses "when can you quit duō", and the crew of the old version of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" uses "when can you quit chuò", each with its own basis.

The textbook and the crew use the "Short Song Line", in addition to the difference between "when it can be dropped" and "when can you quit", there is also the difference between "clear as the moon" and "Kyaukyauk like the moon", and the difference between "the sea is not tired of deep" and "the water is not tired of deep". "Clearly as the moon", "the sea is not tired of depth" and "Kyaukyao like the moon" and "water is not tired of depth", the meaning is basically the same; But there is a difference in meaning between "when it can be dropped" and "when it can be dropped".

"掇" is the "掇duō" of "picking", "tomorrow sun and moon, when can be fought" is the meaning of "the bright moon in the sky, when will I get it", using "bright moon" as a metaphor for "heaven", writing Cao Cao's desire to calm the world and reorganize the mountains and rivers; "Dropout" is the meaning of "quitting school" and "Kyaukyauk is like the moon, when can you quit chuò" is the meaning of "the bright moon in the sky, when can it stop", using "bright moon" as a metaphor for "time", writing Cao Cao's lament that the sun and the moon do not live and the time passes.

Is Cao Mengde's poem singing "When can (Bright Moon) be duō" or "When can (Bright Moon) quit chuò"? Which do you prefer? Do you remember Cao Cao's "Short Song Xing", "when can you throw duō" or "when can you quit chuò"?
