The method she taught young actors to "do homework" was also learned from her predecessors Liu Songren and Zheng Zeshi. These two are not only excellent actors, but also have been directors and can look at the performance of actors from another level. Jiang Meiyi has collaborated with Liu Songren on more than one TV series, the most well-known to the audience is "Famous Ladies" (2012). Before each shooting, Liu Songren would ask her to do her homework in advance.
