A long-lost victory, the Nets finally defeated the Indiana Pacers after a hard fight, and Ben Simmons, who failed to play in this game, did not know how to feel. The biggest contributor to this win was, of course, Kevin Durant. Team star Kevin Durant played 39 minutes and shot 13-of-22 from the field, including 2-of-5 on three-pointers and 8-of-8 from the free-throw line, scoring 36 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. There was also a brilliant smash in the game, and it's hard to believe that this is his performance after two serious career-destroying injuries. Kyrie Irving also had a great game this game, but counting on these two superpowers to occasionally win every game is not a long-term plan after all, and the Nets have a long way to go.
