He is an urgent pioneer in epidemic prevention and control, a guardian of campus safety, a propagandist against fraud and anti-fraud, and a good expert in purifying the security environment....... Since the beginning of the police, he has always taken root in the grassroots, never forgetting his original intention, keeping in mind his mission, and unswervingly refining steel. Serving the people and safeguarding safety is his mission and duty, and he is Wang Xiaofeng, director of the Langdao Police Station of the Coastal Police Detachment of the Municipal Public Security Bureau.
Lead by example. A good secretary, forge a fortress, lead a red team. As the secretary of the party branch, Wang Xiaofeng has always adhered to the work standard of "leading the flight with the head geese", kept the responsibility in mind with excellent political loyalty and the performance of duties, carried the mission on his shoulders, and strived to improve the ability of "leading the flight". Be a top soldier. The police station has jurisdiction over two urbanized regional stations of Laodao and Madao, covering an area of 106 square kilometers, with a permanent population of more than 40,000 people, a floating population of more than 18,000, and an annual police force of about 1,500. In the face of huge business volume, Wang Xiaofeng scientifically formulated law enforcement plans and accurately dispatched police forces to ensure the smooth operation of daily police tasks. He persisted in grasping comprehensive, key points, and details, and took the lead in participating in major law enforcement tasks of units. During the "100-day operation" to crack down on public security in the summer, he insisted on leading the people's police to go to the front line, strengthen safety publicity, patrol prevention and control, crackdown and other measures, comprehensively improve the ability of potential safety hazards in his jurisdiction, and ensure that there are zero vicious cases in his jurisdiction. In the past five years, more than 30 drug-related cases of various kinds have been detected, and 41 suspects have been arrested, ranking among the best in terms of the number of combat results. He patiently listened to the appeals, identified the crux of the problem, and successfully resolved 12 major contradictions and disputes. In 2021, the Slangdao Police Station was awarded the "collective third-class merit".
Assume the satisfaction of the people. Wang Xiaofeng took the people's satisfaction as the "touchstone" for testing work, actively built a people-opinion-oriented policing model, and responded to the people's new expectations with tangible public security governance effects. He took visiting no less than 60 households every month as the basic indicators of community people's police, and regularly carried out "safe discussion" activities with the theme of "discussing safety precautions, discussing conflict mediation, discussing case handling, discussing publicity on the rule of law, discussing police supervision, and creating a safe community", extensively collecting social conditions and public opinions, and promptly handling various problems, so as to ensure that decision-making comes from the masses and decisions go for the masses. He took the initiative to strengthen communication and coordination with the town party committee and government, actively planned the adjustment of grid planning in his jurisdiction, implemented the fine management of community policing grid, and established a community policing mechanism of "large network set and small grid, one level package, horizontal to edge, and vertical to the end", while alleviating the shortage of police strength in police stations, he achieved the work goal of "having someone in charge of everything and not lacking services". Since the beginning of this year, the institute has organized more than 20 police-citizen meetings, collected more than 200 effective social conditions and public opinions, investigated and resolved more than 50 disputes, efficiently handled more than 10,000 household administration and residence permit business for the masses, and the satisfaction of the masses with the work of the police station in the jurisdiction has always remained above 98%.
