This small, pale-faced oriental woman named Ikuko Towa is a Japanese-American citizen. During World War II, Ikuko Hiro played the role of "Tokyo Rose" in a radio station set up by the Japanese bureau military, which had a certain degree of influence on the US military.
The American GIs first heard "Tokyo Rose" in December 1941, on a calm evening as they leisurely waited for the daily scheduled radio program. When the sunset was as beautiful as fire, the voice they had been waiting for finally came out of the radio.
But to the surprise of the American soldiers, this time the show seemed to be different. It was a mezzo-soprano, and her sexy voice immediately attracted countless American soldiers, who pressed their ears to the radio and listened very intoxicatedly:

They began to fantasize in their minds what the announcer looked like, thinking that she must be a big blonde beauty, not only that, but she should also be a tall, attractive and authentic beauty with a sense of story. Just as they were intoxicated, the broadcast came to an abrupt end, and it turned out that the officers had come to their senses and cut off the broadcast in time.
Although the officers were doing the right thing, the American soldiers did not buy it, and they felt that this was a program specially prepared for them by the motherland, and asked the officers to continue broadcasting.
The officers refused the soldiers' request, because from the broadcast just now, they were keenly aware of the hidden mystery, which must not be the show of the Americans, and most likely the conspiracy of the Japanese.

According to the data, Ikuko Towa is a Japanese-American citizen born on July 4, 1916 in Los Angeles, USA. Her parents were called Tosu Jun and Tosu Komi, and they went to the United States to escape the war, and then gave birth to Towa Ikuko.
In order to integrate into the local society, Tosu's parents did not teach her Japanese, but let Towa learn English, and all living habits were imitated by the locals. More than a decade later, Ikuko Towa is a Japanese-American citizen with an Asian face but fluent English.
Before 1941, Tomi's life was very peaceful, and she successfully enrolled in the University of California in Los Angeles, where she received a bachelor's degree in zoology in 1940.
1941 was a special day for Tomi, when her parents received a letter from her hometown saying that Tomi's aunt was critically ill and needed their help. After much thought, Tomi's parents decided to let their daughter return to China to take care of her aunt.
Because relations between Japan and the United States had deteriorated at that time, Tosa's journey back to Japan was not very smooth, and she hurried back home with only a temporary document. After returning to Japan, Ikuko Towa discovered the difficulties of living in Japan, and although she was a descendant of Japanese, she could not understand Japanese or understand Japanese.
Life was difficult, because of her strange behavior, even attracted the attention of the secret police.
Later, Towa decided to return to the United States, but the temporary document could no longer prove her identity, and coupled with the intervention of the Japanese government, Towa Yuko could not return to the United States.
Just when Towa Ikuko was worried about life, a man named Dakuno appeared, and it was this person who changed Tomi's life and made her the "Tokyo Rose" in the mouth of American soldiers.
At that time, Japan was ready to attack the United States, and in order to weaken the combat effectiveness of the American military, the Japanese army opened many radio stations to provoke anti-war sentiment among American soldiers in this way. However, no matter what the Japanese military did, the results were always unsatisfactory. After several fruitless attempts, the Japanese decided to abandon the plan.
At this time, Daquinno made a proposal to the Japanese command, believing that if a Japanese-American person was replaced as an announcer, the effect would definitely be very different. The Japanese saw this as a viable option and asked Daquinno to look for a candidate.
After several inquiries, Dakuno found Ikuko Tosu, who was stranded in Japan. At that time, Tosu Yuko was helpless and almost unsustainable, so in order to survive, she had to agree to Dakuno's invitation.
At first, Dakuno only gave Tosu Yuko some typing work, and when Tosu Yuko completely lost his guard, Dakuno said his true purpose.
When Tosu Yuko heard these words, she decisively refused Dakuno's request and said that she wanted to leave, but at this time, Tosu Yuzi was already a caged sparrow at the mercy of others, and Dakuno said that it was voluntary, but in fact it was a naked threat. With nowhere to go, Ikuko Tosu agreed to Dakuno's request and became an announcer for the Japanese military.
The truth is exactly the same as Daquino's expectations, because of Tosu Yuko's special experience, her voice was loved by American soldiers as soon as she appeared. The American GI was madly fascinated by Tosu Ikuko's voice, and did many things to disobey military orders under her deception.
Gradually, Tomi's voice became known to everyone, and the American soldiers called it "Tokyo Rose", and the US military department called it "Pacific Demon Woman".
During the years of war, Ikuko Towa inflicted considerable losses on the United States. In 1948, Ikuko Towa was arrested by the United States and her trial began shortly after. Because the facts of the crime were conclusive, the case quickly came to an end. On October 6, 1949, a U.S. court sentenced Tosu to ten years in prison.
On September 26, 2006, Ikuko Towa died in Chicago.
