According to the relevant person in charge of the panda base, as of now, the panda base has successfully bred 15 giant pandas this year, including 4 pairs of twins, of which the heaviest newborn weight reached 218.5 grams.

At present, all the newborn cubs are growing up in good condition, the heaviest weight is close to 6 kg, living in the solar delivery room and the moon delivery room of the panda base, and 13 giant panda cubs participated in the debut activity. During the National Day, visitors to the panda base can also see them in the visiting area of the delivery room (exhibition time: 8:00-18:00).

Among this year's newborn cubs, there are some new members of the "star family". Among them, the giant panda "Olympia" named by the president of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, successfully gave birth to a female giant panda cub; The well-known "family class" member "Ji Li" also gave birth to his fourth child, and a male "Little Ash" was particularly eye-catching among many siblings. There is also a returnee giant panda "Meimi" born at the Atlanta Zoo in the United States who also successfully gave birth to a male giant panda cub this year.
