In the past ten years, Shizong County has invested a total of 570.3111 million yuan to build 322,400 mu of high-standard farmland with square fields, canals, roads, drought irrigation and flood drainage; since 2015, it has completed the identification test of the yield, stable yield, adaptability, stress resistance, quality and other important characteristics of new varieties of rapeseed. For three consecutive years, the organization and implementation of the national wheat variety regional test, the Yunnan Wheat variety regional test, the Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences wheat consortium test and other wheat test demonstrations, of which 651 new varieties were tested and inspected in 2022, and 2 new varieties of Yunmai 110 and Yunmai 112 were demonstrated and displayed, which improved the efficiency of agricultural science and technology innovation while making varieties and technical reserves for the development of local wheat, and promoting the transformation and application of agricultural scientific and technological achievements.
Promote the application of agricultural mechanization operations, promote the mechanization of the whole process of corn precision sowing of 90,000 mu, and create the largest and highest grade corn mechanized production demonstration model in the southwest region. As of June 2022, the total power of agricultural machinery reached 334,300 kilowatts, the total operating area of agricultural machinery reached more than 10.35 million mu, the mechanization rate of cultivation and harvesting of major crops reached 54.5%, and it has won the first prize of the promotion of the whole mechanized planting technology of corn in qujing plateau, the second prize of the promotion of the sowing technology of corn production machinery in Yunnan Province, and the second prize of the technological innovation and integration demonstration of conservation tillage technology in Qujing City, which greatly promotes the steady growth of grain production year by year and ensures the increase in production and income in the project area. Radiation has led to a steady increase in the total grain output of the county.
Large-scale farming continues to grow
In the past ten years, Shizong County has "grasped pig production like grain production", relying on domestic large-scale pig breeding enterprises such as "Wen's" and "Twins", and vigorously developed pig scale breeding. By the end of 2021, the county has built 5 breeding farms, 424 fattening pig scale production lines, designed 1.22 million pigs, and the large-scale breeding rate of pigs has reached 65.13%, ranking first in the city. 375 large-scale farms (households) with more than 10 beef cattle have been built. Cultivate and develop 89 large-scale meat and sheep breeding households. In 2021, 913,200 pigs, 55,000 beef cattle, 278,100 meat sheep, 1,908,400 meat and poultry, and a total meat output of 97,500 tons. 317 livestock and poultry large-scale farms have been built to purchase infrastructure and equipment such as manure dumps, fermentation beds, and automatic scraping boards, so that the matching rate of manure treatment facilities and equipment in large-scale farms has reached 100%, and the comprehensive utilization rate of manure in the county has reached 97.4%.
In the past ten years, the county's fishery development momentum is good, focusing on the development of "high-quality, high-yield, high-efficiency" aquatic industry, the fishery breeding area exceeded 20,000 mu, is now stable at 13,000 mu, the annual output of aquatic products is the highest 15,000 tons, the output value exceeds 300 million yuan; for many years, there have been no major aquaculture aquatic product quality and safety accidents, no illegal drugs and unqualified aquatic products have been found, and 100% of aquatic products have been sampled at the national, provincial, municipal and county levels.
Agricultural brands polish the undertone
In the past ten years, Shizong County has focused on building a green food brand and strengthening the green and high-quality development of agriculture, passing the "double certification" of agricultural product quality and safety in 2018, and in recent years, it has continuously passed the provincial ability verification and assessment, successfully created a "national agricultural product quality and safety county", and built 20 provincial, municipal and county "green food brand" industrial bases; Completed 48 "three products and one standard" product declaration and certification.
