During the two days and one night when the SWAT was stranded, the headquarters only relied on satellite phones to maintain contact with them, and due to the continuous aftershocks and sudden changes in the weather, the satellite phone was disconnected at noon on the 8th. Yesterday morning, the good news came: the 24 warriors in the isolated island of the epicenter were all safe.
The reporter learned from the Sichuan Provincial Public Security Department that the satellite phone was finally dialed, and the rescue command had contacted the 24 special police officers stranded on the isolated island. The command headquarters contacted the helicopter for the first time to implement the launch situation, but due to continuous rainfall, low visibility and other factors, it did not have the flight conditions to receive the return journey, and today, under the assistance of the helicopter, 24 warriors returned smoothly!
