I have a pot of bamboo that I have been raising for almost twenty years, during which I have also flowered twice and produced small fruits. But for several years it was not changed into pots, and it did not flower. When I changed the pot this spring, I found that the roots had filled the pot, but there was some soil on the surface of the pot, and the bottom of the pot was all intertwined with snow-white roots. I cut off some of the roots and replaced them with new humus. Although it is still alive, it may have produced few new shoots because the wounded roots were too severe. Hopefully, it will slowly recover and bear fruit next year.
