Thinking back to the day of the Oscars, Troy Cortsur remembered that Yin Ruzhen helped him hold the trophy, "Especially when I won the award that day, I was still struggling with how to compare sign language with only one hand, but Yin Ruzhen's predecessors helped me hold the trophy, so that I could easily express my acceptance speech, and I really thanked her."

During this visit to South Korea, the local people are accustomed to using chopsticks, but the hotel specially prepared a fork for him, and Troy Kotsur also thanked him: "I am very impressed." He also said that he would travel well in South Korea and return home.
