In the middle of last month, the East Asian Premier League ambassador and NBA Houston Rockets new core Jaylen Green in Manila began a root-seeking trip, during which the Philippine colleagues of the East Asian Premier League conducted an exclusive interview with Green, and now present the video text of the interview to everyone in Chinese and English.

EASL:You once wore a Yao Ming t-shirt prior to a game. What are your perspectives on his contributions as a basketball ambassador for Asia?

You used to put on Yao Ming's T-shirt before the game, how do you see his contribution as an Ambassador for Basketball asia?

杰伦·格林:I know a lot just because he was a former Rocket, they still talk about him in the facility. I know he's done a lot for Asia, just representing the Asian community coming and playing in the league. He went down as one of the the legends.

I know a lot of stories about Yao Ming because he was a former Rockets player, and his legend still circulates in the training gym. But I know that he made an outstanding contribution to Asia, he represented the Asian community, came to the NBA league and eventually became a legend.

EASL:Now that you are on a similar path, what do you hope to achieve with EASL?

Now that you and Yao Ming are on a similar path, what do you hope to achieve in cooperation with the East Asian Premier League?

杰伦·格林:Hopefully a lot. I think it's a great opportunity for people to get in the door and be seen,people who are talented, just hidden away. So I think it's going to be really good.

I hope it can achieve a lot. I think it's a great opportunity for everyone to join in and be seen by everyone, especially the talented, talented players. So I think the East Asian Premier League will bring very good results.

EASL:As you may know, Houston Rockets is one of the most popular team in China. As one of the core member of the team, is there anything you want to say to the Chinese fans?

You probably know that the Houston Rockets are one of the most popular teams in China. As one of the core members of the team, would you like to say something to the Chinese fans?

杰伦·格林:Oh,yeah. I just want to say:“Tune in!How y'all doing?I hope y'all are good!Appreciate the love and the support!I hope we can do something with the Rockets this year and get to the playoffs or something.”

Oh, that's right. I want to say to them, "Keep an eye on the Rockets!" How are you all? I wish you all the best! Thank you for your love and support! "I hope we can work with the Rockets this year to get into the playoffs.

EASL:If you could play for any other league in Asia besides the Philippines, where would it be?

Aside from the Philippines, where would you go if you could play for any other league in Asia?

杰伦·格林:Oh!I don't know if I could've played for any of those. The EASL and the NBA, it would be either one of those as you just said, Japan, Korea, either one.

Oh! I don't know if I can play in those leagues, maybe 1/2 between the East Asian Premier League and the NBA. And as you just said, there is a 1 out of 2 between Japan and South Korea.

EASL:Talk about your relationship with Jordan Clarkson, Filipino Heritage Night in Houston.

Talk about your relationship with Jordan Clarkson and a night of Filipino traditions in Houston.

杰伦·格林:The last Filipino Heritage Night built our relationship in a way, we got in touch a lot more after that. I was recently just in Paris for fashion week with him, so we spent a little time out there. Yeah, Filipino Heritage Night was a great night. We both sat there, answered the fans questions and made it a movie.

The last night of Filipino traditions may have made us real friends in some way, and since then, we have been in touch a lot, not so long ago, I went to Paris Fashion Week with him, and we spent some time there together. It can be said that the Filipino Traditional Night was a wonderful night, and the two of us sat together to answer questions from the fans and make a film.

杰伦·格林:Why am I cool?[Laughs] Man, I appreciate that. I don't know, I don't know what I do to be cool. I don't know. I just try to be myself.

Jaylen Green: Chicken Adobo.

Adobo marinated chicken.

(Note: Adobo Marinated Chicken is a Filipino dish made with chicken thighs stewed in a sauce.) The ingredients for the sauce are vinegar, soy sauce, garlic and black pepper. This dish is characterized by a strong taste, a strong aroma, salty and slightly sweet, rich garlic, hot and spicy. The chicken is simmered over low heat in the sauce to make it rich in flavor and tender in texture. )

What is your hidden talent?

杰伦·格林:Err. Everyone knows I could dance. My hidden talent... Let me think about this one. What is my hidden talent? What can I do this? It's jungle. Actually, I can't juggle with three, I can only juggle two, but it's still juggling.

Forehead...... Everybody knows I can dance... Hidden talent... I have to think about it (kept clapping my palms). What is my hidden talent? What will I do? I can juggle! Actually, I don't throw 3 balls at the same time, I can only throw 2, but that's juggling.

EASL:Who inspired you to play basketball?

Who inspired you to love playing basketball?

杰伦·格林:I would say my mom, for sure. She got me into basketball, but I like Michael Jordan, for sure.

杰伦·格林:Best sport... It's tough. There are so many sports. I would say, maybe soccer?I don't know this. Every sport is kind of lit.
