In 1988, when Zhu Nailin first arrived at Xunyang Road Primary School, it was one of the most common public primary schools in Putuo District. When she became principal in early 1998, she did not flinch in the face of the merger of the five schools she had just experienced, the uneven teachers, and the weak learning ability of the students. Walking into the classroom and listening to the teaching, she was determined to find out the "real" problem.
