This is the Samburu Game Reserve in Kenya, Africa. The Ewaso Nyiro River, which flows from the snow-capped mountains of Kenya to the low-lying Samburu, is the source of Samburu's life, known locally as "Water Samburu" because of its brown color.

At noon, herds of African elephants come to the river to play and bathe. Every day, the elephants cross the river and go to the opposite bank to forage for food. The river is turbulent and danger is everywhere.

The two female elephants protect the baby elephants between each other's bodies, carefully moving forward in the rapids.

The smallest baby elephant was caught up in the rapids. The two female elephants were busy blocking the rushing river with their bodies, and one was busy using the trunk to pull the other baby elephant. They were exhausted, and could only watch as the little elephants who tried their best to get closer to their mothers were washed farther and farther away, appearing from time to time in the rapids, and gradually disappearing. The mother elephants let out a heart-rending roar.

The mother elephants escorted the two baby elephants to the opposite shore as quickly as possible, handed them to the other members of the herd, and rushed downstream like crazy.

At this time, on the bank of the river seven or eight hundred meters downstream, the figure of the baby elephant miraculously appeared. It turned out that the sharp bend in the river there saved the baby elephant! It actually came ashore on its own, standing on a high place and calling out to its mother. The two female elephants roared and rushed into the rushing river, crossing the river as fast as they could.

Fortunately, it was a false alarm, and the mother and son were finally reunited. Those of us who clenched our fists and tears in our eyes also cheered.
