I was influenced by my mother since I was a child, so when I became an adult, I had a special love for flowers and plants.
I remember that in the past years, some people who like flowers always raised a few pots of flowers and grasses, placed on the windowsill or in some conspicuous places, so that the beautiful appearance of the flowers, add to the harmonious atmosphere of the home, beautify the living environment at home, of course, my home is no exception.
Looking back at those past eras, people's lives were always in the midst of food and clothing, and most people at that time were not interested in flowers, let alone aesthetic awareness of flowers.
As I remember, the types of flowers at that time were relatively monotonous, generally some traditional varieties, such as moon flowers, sweet potatoes, geraniums, chrysanthemums, etc., like these flowers, my mother would plant them every year.
When I work or go out to come home, the first thing that catches my eye is the beautiful flowers planted by my mother, which are beautiful and moving, and emit an intoxicating fragrance. At this moment, I will forget all the fatigue and physical discomfort brought to me by the work, and the mood is so pleasant and comfortable.
In recent years, with the continuous deepening of reform and opening up and economic revitalization, as a landless farmer, I have become a factory employee. There is no worry after work, so there is enough leisure time, coupled with a strong interest in flowers and grass, so, on weekdays, see or hear who has good flowers or varieties, they will take time to watch, and even ask for a few, I said all the good words, just to meet the long-cherished wishes.
The flower market where I am located is also a place where I often visit, sometimes to buy some beloved flowers, sometimes to buy some pesticides, flower fertilizers and pots for flower raising.
Spring to summer solstice, the heat is scorching, and many flowers have died one after another due to the unbearable heat. Although I took many measures to cool down, I could not be saved by the raw discomfort of the flowers.
Cold and summer come and go, and the cycle repeats, and in the blink of an eye it is autumn again. As the temperature continued to drop, in order to prevent the invasion of frost, many flowers and plants needed to be moved indoors in the evening, and more than sixty flower pots filled the wall corners of two bedrooms and a living room. Because these flowers and plants occupy a lot of living space, I have not been less than the number of my family and complain.
When the weather outside is good, I move the flowers and plants outside one by one to avoid growing thin and slender. At the same time, let them fully accept ventilation and sunlight, so that I am always happy to die day after day, never idle.
With the rising temperature, these flowers and plants that have been tested by the harsh winter and are under the care of people are turning into vitality in a state of being ready to go. They are on the windowsill, on the benches, in every sunny place in the yard, purple and red, competing for glory, showing their most beautiful style to those who have worked hard to care for and nurture it, and selflessly dedicating the most beautiful years to this spring.
The fragrance of flowers and the smile of flowers have always been the source of motivation in my life. Whenever I was in a bad mood, it would smile silently at me, as if whispering. When I am frustrated and confused in life, it will use its charm to boost my morale. In short, flowers and plants are the only ones in my life and an indispensable part of my life.
In normal times, although I sacrificed too much rest time and money for these flowers. However, when I see the smiling faces they greet me every day, I always feel that my efforts to them have been rewarded accordingly, and the joy and satisfaction in my heart are indescribable, which may be my fate with those flowers and plants!
