According to Cambodian media sources, on the afternoon of September 3, a fire broke out at a gas supplier at No. 1928 Road in Sen Suo District, Phnom Penh, resulting in fire in nearby houses, injuring 7 men and women, as well as burning many cars and motorcycles.
According to the local police, when they learned of the fire at the site of the incident, the joint fire brigade rushed to the scene, but due to the ferocity of the fire, the owner of the gas supplier was seriously injured, another woman and 5 men were seriously injured, and several cars and motorcycles were burned.
After hours of efforts by police officers and the fire brigade to fight the fire, the fire was finally completely controlled.
The police revealed that the fire was caused by a gas leak.
