Since the ZB-26 machine gun was indeed a good weapon, some Chinese arsenals at that time had imitated the gun. According to statistics, at that time, the number of ZB-26 machine guns imitated by Chinese arsenals reached more than 43,000. In this way, the ZB-26 machine guns equipped by the Chinese army during the War of Resistance Against Japan are estimated to be 145,000 to 150,000.
The 150,000 ZB-26 machine guns equipped with the Chinese army did put a lot of pressure on the Devil Scout Army. In many combat operations, the ZB-26 machine gun is even the only repressive weapon of the Chinese army.
