According to the South Korean Army, on September 1, two South Korean domestic "Perfect Eagle" (Surion) helicopters collided and landed urgently when they were parachuting training 10 meters above the ground. A total of 18 soldiers were on board, 1 of whom had a laceration on the scalp.
As for the specific location of the helicopter collision, and whether the accident was caused by a defect in the helicopter or a pilot's operation error, the South Korean Army did not explain.

The Perfect Eagle helicopter is south Korea's first domestic helicopter to be developed at a cost of about $1.06 billion since 2006. In 2012, the helicopter was used in the actual combat deployment of the South Korean Army. In 2015, there were 3 crashes in the Perfect Eagle helicopter.
