St. Gregory's Cathedral is one of the evidences of Armenian fidelity to their religion. This is the main church in Yerevan. The location of the cathedral is in the canton of Kentrunn.

In the 1700th year of the adoption of Christianity as the state religion in Armenia, a majestic church was built in Yerevan. It is built in the classical architectural style. In the church, about 2500 believers can be accommodated to pray together. It is a church complex consisting of three churches: The Church of Our Lady, the Church of St. Tyridatus and the Church of St. Queen Ashkena. In Armenian church architecture, churches with central domes are common. St. Gregory's Cathedral is the largest of the Armenian churches. Below the church, there is the monument to St. Gregory, the library, the hall of ceremonies and lectures, the studio. The Church of St. Tiridates and st. Ashkena are used for ceremonies, especially weddings, baptisms and requiems.
