Texas border protection officials last week found nearly $12 million worth of cocaine in goods labeled "baby wipes," the agency's largest seizure in nearly 20 years, officials said.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials conducted a second inspection of a 2016 Stoughton trailer, saying at a news conference Monday that the seizure took place on the Columbia Solidarity Bridge near Laredo.

The trailer's list said it was transporting baby wipes, but dogs and non-invasive examinations (radar or ultrasound scans) found a large amount of illegal narcotics — 1,935 packets of cocaine.

Randy Howe, director of field operations at CBP's Laredo field office, called it a "huge, record seizure."

The estimated market price of 1,532.65 pounds of cocaine is $11,818,400.
