Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin is influenced by world travel such as Vacheron Constantin

Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin is infused with twelve botanical ingredients, just like the twelve months of the year, as balanced as the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Perpetual Calendar. Distilled by the lake in a shed in an Irish town called Drumshanbo, like the Vacheron Constantin manufacturing plant built on the lakeside, the ordinary becomes extraordinary. PJ Rigney's laboratory is located in this small shed. PJ is the creator of artisanal spirits, and he slowly distills this gin with nature's finest oriental plants and gunpowder teas. 12 plants from Asia and Europe give this gin a unique personality. Inspired by plants discovered during PJ Rigney's travels, another similarity to the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Edition is designed for travelers.

With the "jackalope" as a sign, it couldn't be more appropriate. 'jackalope' is such a mysterious and wonderful creature that it is the mythical descendant of the long-eared rabbit (not the real rabbit) and the American antelope (not the real antelope). Legend has it that the "staghorn" was conceived in a storm of lightning, and it appeared haphazardly in Drumshanbo, Ireland, as if in a dream, and then disappeared in a burst of feet and antlers. This little miracle is the perfect symbol of all the extraordinary things drumshanbo gunpowder Irish gin has to offer.

With the prominent flavors of citrus and gunpowder tea – a green tea whose delicate leaves have slowly dried and then carefully rolled into shiny granules – this gin has a bold and bright taste with a slight spicy freshness.

With the citrus flavor of this gin, one can taste the cardamom that PJ Rigney found when he picked up a bowl of shahi tukra in India. Then you can feel a very subtle coriander seed flavor. PJ is fascinated by coriander as he passes through Bucharest and enjoys pork and lamb from street vendors. On his journey eastward, PJ found himself wandering in the mountains of Morocco. In the loose soil of these slopes, he found the purple hue of the bearded iris. But what intrigued him was not the flowers themselves, but the oil from the roots of the earth, which PJ knew would be a must-have for his secret tabernacle.

But perhaps the most unique ingredient in this gin is the meadowsweet from Drumshanbo. As wild and unspoiled as the Drumshanbo countryside itself, this small, delicate flower was one of the first plants added to this gin. Covering the fields around Lough Allen like thin snow, aptly named Meadowsweet, may have been what awakened PJ's love of all plants and ignited his quest for Europe and Asia.

Although it is almost impossible to taste the gunpowder tea flavor in this gin, it is clear that, like any gin, each plant ingredient plays a key role in the final flavor. While Drumshanbo suggested decorating a thick slice of grapefruit on top of gin and tonics, we decided to stick with tradition and garnish with fresh slices of lime. An incredible gin with an intense citrus flavor unlike any other gin on the market. It works better with Vacheron Constantin Overseas 10,000 Years.
