Indian photographers spent a month and a half photographing forest birds preying

In Guptipara, West Bengal, India, August 31, 2022, 28-year-old photographer Ramesh Karmakar photographed a colorful bird desperately trying to swallow a large frog in its entirety with a Nikon D500 camera.

Ramesh said: "There is a forest on the bank of the Ganges near my home, and I usually go to that forest to take pictures, and one afternoon, I suddenly saw the brown-breasted Buddhist monk for the first time on a tall branch. I slowly approached the bird and took a picture. When the bird caught the frog, I kept calling out to God to come and take pictures up close. I managed to get closer and slowly took pictures of the brown-breasted Buddhist monk and the frog. It is understood that the brown-breasted Dharma monk would dive into the water, like a kingfisher, to catch frogs and fish as its food. After taking these pictures, I feel very good, I used to go to the forest every day to see this bird, but every time it sat on a high branch or on a power line. It took me about a month and a half to get the picture. ”
