Tekka launches a travel retail-only liquor offering: Talisker Surge

Talisker, based on the Isle of Skye, has announced a new travel retail offering: Talisker Surge. The wine is unscheduled, aged in American Bourbon barrels, with an alcohol content of 45.8% ABV, 700 ml, and priced at 85 pounds / 95 euros / 115 US dollars.

The wine adds a delicious sweetness and an extra layer of spices to the iconic maritime character, with a rich palate and a subtle smoky finish. According to official tasting records, the smell has an initial sweetness, followed by forest berries, cream bread, banana slices, and American cream soda. Soon, the smoke of roasted pine nuts and the faint smell of spiced chili peppers began to form, and the strength and strength of the sake began to emanate. The taste buds started softly, and immediately before the taste of canned tropical peaches, there was the sweetness of brioche and the Panofair pie, and it wasn't long before the true essence of Testa appeared, with a sweet sea flavour, fresh ginger flavors and notes of oak smoke and pepper spices. The aftertaste is rich – chili spices and crushed black pepper, in the embers of a beach campfire, fade into the smoke in the distance with the last hint of roasted marshmallow.

Starting today, it will be listed at Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Schiphol and Hamburg, and in September at London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Edinburgh, and then to more European airports such as Istanbul, Copenhagen, Oslo and Paris. It will be listed in the Asia-Pacific region in October and in Australia in December.
