Allen Iverson, full name Allen Ezaillverson, born June 7, 1975 in Hampton, Virginia, is an American basketball player who plays as a defender and former captain of the U.S. men's basketball team Dream Team. Aaron Iverson was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round of the 1996 NBA Draft, and on October 30, 2013, Aaron Iverson officially announced his retirement, ending his 14-year career.
