On August 15, 1947, India and Pakistan were divided / separated. 75 years later, India is on the rise to become the world's third-largest economic entity. 75 years ago, in a series of historical twists and turns, the South Asian subcontinent decided everything today in a short period of time. Figure 1 shows Indian independence movement leaders Gandhi and Nehru seeking a post-independence vision of India.
