#埃及一教堂发生火灾 At least 40 dead and 45 injured #[Egyptian President Sisi expresses condolences to the families of fire victims] On August 14, 2022, a fire broke out in Abo Sefein church in Giza Province, on the west bank of the Nile, Egypt, and at least 55 victims have been taken to several hospitals for rescue.
President Sisi instructed all relevant State institutions to take immediately all necessary measures to address the incident, eliminate the adverse effects and provide all aspects of health care to the victims. Four fire trucks had rushed to the scene in an attempt to control the fire. The police cordoned off the area to prevent unrelated personnel from approaching.
President Sisi also expressed his condolences to Pope Tawadros II and said that he had instructed all State institutions to provide all kinds of care to victims and their families.
