On August 8, the day after the Eastern Theater continued the "blockade exercise," it announced that it would focus on organizing joint anti-submarine and sea assault operations. The exercise has been practicing sea assault operations for the past few days, and it can be considered that the focus of the 8th is "joint anti-submarine" (Figure 1). The "Assault Operation Against the Sea" is to cooperate with anti-submarine warfare to warn and strike at a hypothetical enemy at sea that poses a threat to our anti-submarine forces.

Anti-submarine warfare is an important aspect of fighting for and maintaining sea supremacy, and it is also an important aspect of our navy's construction of a three-dimensional attack and defense system on the sea surface, in the air, and underwater. Specific to the Taiwan Strait battlefield, the Taiwan military only has 2 old submarines that can fight wars (Figure 4), which is no threat to me. The Taiwan authorities have been clamoring for many years to "build Taiwan ships and Taiwan", and are currently putting together parts and components from various countries to be "assembled" to build, and by the day when they are launched, Taiwan may have been liberated.

The greatest threat to our reunification of Taiwan is Japanese submarines, followed by American and Australian submarines. Japan does not rely on aerodynamic (AIP) submarines, with 3,000-4,000 tons of "Soryu class" and "pro-tide class", a total of about 22 (Figure 2). Due to the small tonnage and low noise, it is suitable for moving in shallow and narrow seas, and it is very close to the Chinese mainland, which poses a great threat to our ships. The United States is an attack nuclear submarine of more than 7,000 tons (Figure 3), which is only suitable for activities in the South China Sea in the first island chain, and last October a 12,000-ton "Seawolf class" collided with an underwater unknown object while sneaking in the South China Sea. Australian submarines also frequently operate in the China Sea, building their own attack nuclear submarines with the support of the United States and Britain, and will enter service around 2030.

Our navy's exercise of "anti-submarine warfare" is the highlight of this blockade exercise. The main opponent is Japan, and the secondary opponent is the United States. In order to ensure that the blockade against Taiwan is not broken, there are four key anti-submarine sea areas.

One is the Bashi Strait on the south side of Taiwan (Figure 5). This passage is very convenient for submarines to travel between the South China Sea and the western Pacific. Because the deepest taiwan strait is only 400 meters, the Taiwan shoal near the south entrance is only more than 100 meters, and the penghu seabed is complex and the currents are changeable, so the Taiwan Strait is not convenient for submarine activities, like a rat drilling into a bellows. The Bashi Strait will become the only passage in the northern part of the South China Sea, and if this throat is choked, the US-Australian submarines will lose the ability to maneuver across the theater.

The second is the Miyako Strait (Figure 9). This is the most convenient passage for our navy to enter and leave the western Pacific, and in wartime, it may be dominated by Japanese submarines, and this passage may be blocked by land-based firepower on Miyako and Ishigaki Islands. In particular, the delay in our aircraft carrier battle group attacking the Philippine Sea, the first enemy to occupy a favorable position.

The third is about 100 kilometers off the coast on the east side of Taiwan (Figure 6). In wartime, 300-400 kilometers east of Taiwan will be established as an aircraft carrier battle group to the outside front, and foreign troops will not be allowed to enter the Battlefield of the Taiwan Strait. On the eastern side of the 100 km, the amphibious assault ship battle group will establish an internal front, and the Marine Corps and air assault forces will attack the eastern part of Taiwan from the two attack ships. The sea must be safe, including underwater. When the unified operation begins, the sea surface and underwater threats will be eliminated.

The fourth is to Chinese mainland the access channels of major naval bases along the coast (Figure 7). It is necessary to clear the enemy submarines that have been pre-ambushed. In particular, our strategic missile nuclear submarines must pass through hundreds of kilometers of shallow water on the continental shelf before they can enter the deep sea and it is difficult to measure their whereabouts. This section of shallow water should be the focus of anti-submarine warfare.

Our military already has an anti-submarine system composed of large anti-submarine aircraft, anti-submarine helicopters, surface ship-to-submarine strikes, submarine anti-submarines, and inshore water listening and monitoring networks. Taking "joint anti-submarine warfare" as the highlight of blocking the postponement of the exercise does not rule out that there are really foreign submarines sneaking into the sea area of the exercise. In the future, if similar exercises are really done, hunting a big fish or forcing a white flag out of the water, it will be a real bonus! From today's headlines, we saw #Lithuanian officials sneaking into Taiwan China imposed sanctions ##佩洛西窜台带儿子 questioned for favoritism #
