Nepenthes is a large carnivorous plant whose huge cage can swallow even an entire mouse, a plant found on Mount Victoria in the Philippines that secretes a nectar-like substance to attract insects into the acid- and enzyme-filled "pool of death" that has been laid out, full of sticky veins, and it is almost impossible for prey to run out once they enter.
Nepenthes macrophylla, also known as " N. attenboro " , is a tropical carnivorous plant endemic to Palawan Province , with an altitude range of 1600 m to 1726 m. It grows on Mount Victoria at an altitude of 1600 to 1726 m, and is later found on the Victoria Heights mountain of Sagpaw and its connected ridges. It grows in scrubs 0.8 to 1.8 m high. It is distributed in the same domain as several other Nepenthes species.
