False sour pulp (wild lantern grass)
It looks very much like a girl fruit, but its fruit cannot become a sour berry (girl fruit), so it can only be a fake sour pulp, also called lantern grass, and because it is wild, it is called wild lantern grass.
The difference between sour pulp and fake acid pulp:
Each plant grows 5 to 10 flowers, the calyx is green, broad bell-shaped, the corolla is white, the calyx expands into an oocyst after flowering, the base is slightly concave, thinly leathery, and orange-red or fiery red when ripe.
The pseudo-acid pulp flowers are solitary in the leaf axils and are lilac, the calyx has 5 deep lobes, the base of the lobes is heart-shaped, the corolla is funnel-shaped, about 3 cm in diameter, and there are 5 purple patches inside the flower cone, not to mention, the clearest in comparison with Figure 5.
Flowers are closed in the morning and evening, and the mouth is only opened when the sun is shining.
