Lady Huarui, a native of Qingcheng during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, her original surname was Fei, and because of her talent and appearance, she was fortunate to be honored by the Later Shu lord Meng Chang and was given the title of Noble Concubine, nicknamed Lady Huarui. She is talented and brilliant. Her poems are fresh and graceful, leaving behind many masterpieces.

Later Shu lord Meng Chang, a young man, only knew how to indulge in pleasure all day, did not understand the politics of the dynasty, and finally in 964, Zhao Kuangyin sent troops to the capital of Hou Shu, and the Shu army was defeated without a fight, and all of them went out of the city with Meng Chang, the king of the fallen country, and surrendered. The country was destroyed and the family died, and Lady Huarui was also escorted to Kaifeng by the Song army.

Zhao Kuangyin, the grandfather of the Song Dynasty, had been famous for Lady Huarui for a long time, and ordered an edict to see her, and was immediately overwhelmed by Lady Huarui's beauty, and almost lost her attitude. Deliberately accusing Lady Huarui of being a red face and a curse of water, the Tangtang Shu Kingdom was destroyed at the hands of a woman. Lady Hua Rui solemnly told the emperor what was the reason for not knowing the good politics of the dynasty, only indulging in wine, so that the country declined, and then imposed the crime on the weak woman. So on the spot, he made this "Poem on the Fall of the Country" that has been handed down to this day: "The flag was lowered on the king's city, and the concubine learned in the deep palace that 140,000 people were disarmed, and none of them were boys." Madame Hua Rui's poem is sad and indignant with unashamedness, with the helplessness of being a woman and the unwillingness in her heart. It should be known that at that time, the Shu state had 140,000 troops, but it was beaten by Zhao Kuangyin's tens of thousands of soldiers and horses. A few poems by the weak woman made the men of the Shu kingdom ashamed and landless.

Song Taizu greatly admired Lady Huarui's beauty and talent, and forced her into the palace. Seven days later, the Shu lord Meng Chang died unexpectedly, and Lady Huarui was sad and held Meng Chang's portrait in the palace, secretly weeping.

In 976, after Taizu died and Zhao Guangyi ascended the throne, he coveted Lady Huarui's beauty and wanted to take her for herself, but Lady Huarui swore to die and refused to obey, so she was killed by Zhao Guangyi, who was angry and ashamed.

However, there are many opinions about the cause of Madame Huarui's death, and one theory is that resentment has become a disease. Song Taizu began to be very kind to Lady Huarui, and even wanted to make her empress, but because she was the favorite concubine of the fallen country, she was opposed by the ministers. Later, Taizu established the daughter of the Song clan as the queen, and gradually snubbed Lady Huarui, who had no relatives and no reason, coupled with a long period of cold palace life, endured the pain of being abandoned, so she had resentment and depression.

Another theory is that he missed his late lord Meng Chang and invited the disaster of killing himself. It is said that Madame Huarui was in the deep palace, and every late at night, she took out Meng Chang's portrait, wept bitterly, and expressed her longing. After Taizu knew, he asked strictly, and Lady Huarui said that this was Zhang Xian, who sent her son. This is also the origin of the folk call Madame Huarui as a child-sending lady. Later, Taizu still knew about this and killed him in anger.

Madame Huarui fell into his favorite hibiscus flower, and the blood stained the hibiscus flower particularly gorgeous. People appreciate her talent and bones, and they also miss her loyalty to love. Folk revere her as a flower goddess and send her son to niangniang.

She is beautiful and talented. She has amazed two dynasties, with the exclusive favor of the king of the fallen country and the founding king, and behind the vain glory is endless misfortune and bitterness.
