Directed by Yoon Jong-bin ("Agent", "Unforgivable"), and starring Ha Jeong-woo, Hwang Jeong-min, Park Hae-so, Cho Woo-jin, Yoo Yeon-seok, Cho Cho Cho Hyun and Jang Jin, the Netflix drama "Suriname" is scheduled to be released on September 9, with a total of six episodes and a production cost of up to 35 billion won.
The play tells the story of a civilian entrepreneur who risks his life to cooperate with the covert operation to capture a Drug Lord in South America. Hwang Jung-min plays a drug lord in the film, Ha Jeong-woo plays the role of assisting the intelligence agencies in apprehending drug traffickers, and Cho Woo-jin, Yoo Yeon-seok, Park Hae-so, and Cho Cho-hyun play members of drug trafficking organizations and key members of intelligence agencies, respectively.
